About the Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County
Supporting Nassau County’s Criminal Defense Bar Since 1953
The Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County is dedicated to supporting attorneys who defend clients in all aspects of criminal defense throughout Nassau County. Founded in 1953, the Association continues to serve as a professional resource for its members by promoting education, communication, and collaboration within the legal community.
Through monthly meetings, accredited continuing legal education programs, professional events, and ongoing communication among members, the Association provides attorneys with opportunities to stay informed on important legal issues affecting criminal defense practice in New York State and Nassau County. The CCBA also works to foster strong professional relationships among attorneys, judges, and members of the court system.
The Association hosts important annual events, including a formal dinner honoring the recipient of the Norman Lent Award, as well as the annual golf outing recognizing the Practitioner of the Year. Today, the CCBA remains committed to supporting its members, strengthening the criminal defense bar, and serving the Nassau County legal community.
